We are currently seeking Rideau Canal Skateway Food Vendors for the winter season 2023-2024.
Each winter, the National Capital Commission transforms the historic Rideau Canal into the world’s largest skating rink and welcomes nearly one million visitors for winter fun. Beloved by locals and tourists alike, the Rideau Canal Skateway winds its way through the heart of downtown Ottawa, over a total length of 7.8 kilometres.
The National Capital Commission is seeking interested Proponents to operate food concessions during the skating season. Proponents will be bidding to secure a spot on the canal for the next three (3) years, with options to extend at the discretion of the National Capital Commission.
