David Hunter President
A licensed engineer and certified project manager, David is a “big picture” leader who never loses sight of the details. David manages the day-to-day business activities of Inside Edge Properties and is involved in all business transactions and corporate operations. With a degree in electrical engineering, David has been, and continues to be, instrumental in overseeing the company’s operational activities, service delivery, construction projects, and investments. At Inside Edge, David helped pioneer advanced tenant services and client-reporting capabilities. Today, he lends his considerable expertise to a disciplined strategy that ensures investments are focused on specifically targeted properties designed to achieve risk-adjusted returns.
Prior to joining the company, David worked for a local engineering firm that focused on large-scale real estate construction projects. He has left his mark on a number of landmark projects in the National Capital Region.
Taylor Hunter Senior Vice President
Taylor is responsible for managing the company’s strategic direction, leasing, and business development efforts. Taylor’s calculated insight and management skills allow him to effectively oversee the company’s expanding commercial real estate portfolio. His ability to think critically and recognize innovative opportunities has resulted in success in other areas of the business, including acquisitions and corporate communications.
His experience extends to all aspects of the business including property management, project management, asset management, and leasing. He is a trusted industry expert with a focus on office, retail, and industrial assets.
Taylor’s in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate, particularly in Ottawa and the surrounding area, has been fundamental to the company’s growth and achievements. Taylor is a licensed real estate broker who is registered with the Real Estate Council of Ontario. A graduate of Carleton University with a degree that includes a concentration in business law, he has been with Inside Edge Properties since 2006.
Jordan R. Bianconi Vice President, Acquisitions & Business Development
Jordan is a proven real estate professional who has experience in all major areas of commercial real estate including the office, retail, industrial, and development-land sectors. At Inside Edge, Jordan is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the Inside Edge platform and its investment activities, including sourcing opportunities, structuring and negotiating agreements with partners, and assisting in the underwriting, due diligence, and asset management processes.
Having executed more than $600 million in real estate transactions for a wide array of clients, Jordan has considerable experience with private, institutional, and owner-users as well as REITS, public, and crown corporations. With a thorough understanding of key market dynamics and challenges, Jordan’s services have been used to determine highest and best use of properties and portfolios, while assisting with determining proper acquisition or dispositions strategies as well as marketing and leasing solutions. This expertise has resulted in Jordan being quoted by media such as the Ottawa Business Journal and the Real Estate News Exchange.
Prior to joining Inside Edge Properties, Jordan worked with Newmark Knight Frank Devencore as a Tenant Representative, Colliers International as a member of the National Investment Team, and Bassi Construction as the Director of Real Estate and Business Development.
Lindsay Ambridge Director of Operations
With a broad background in managing operational teams, Lindsay brings diverse experiences to her role at Inside Edge Properties. She leads the planning and execution of operational functions, supporting the infrastructure that allows the company to run smoothly. She is responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing optimal processes and workflows that result in premium client and customer service.
Lindsay is an organizer and a communicator, dedicated to streamlining procedures and fostering clarity of approach. Her aim is to help teams to thrive by optimizing workflows and ensuring that team members have the information and tools they need to perform at their highest level.
A graduate of the University of Michigan and Boston University, Lindsay’s background in academia has given her the ability to think critically and bring large, multi-faceted projects to fruition.
Heather Cannon, CPA, CMA, RPA, FMA Director of Property Management
A designated accountant and certified property and facilities manager, Heather has held positions in both finance and property management for over 30 years, most recently with Westeinde Group and Windmill Developments as Vice President, Operations, and Director, Client Services, respectively.
She has collaborated regularly in the areas of construction, development, and leasing on diverse commercial and residential projects. Holding both professionalism and ethics at the forefront in her relationships, Heather has worked with a variety of tenants over the years, ranging from small retail businesses to large government departments.
Heather’s strong organizational and communication skills, coupled with her industry experience, have been integral in building and mentoring a solid property management team at Inside Edge. Heather currently leads a team of dedicated employees that includes building operators, property administrators, and property managers. Working together, they provide exceptional service to both our tenants and our clients. Heather believes training is a critical component of her team’s success and promotes opportunities to improve their professional and personal skills. The challenges of effective property management require a strong team where all members respect each other and work together to achieve success.
Kari Williams Director of Finance
An accomplished finance professional with over 25 years of experience, Kari draws on a diverse background including roles in the high-tech, professional services, and real estate brokerage industries. Kari’s role as Director Finance is to manage the overall ﬁnancial health of the company. She is responsible for overseeing financial reporting and forecasting, tax planning, and analysis of growth, revenue, and profitability.
As a trusted advisor, Kari delivers real-time analytics and strategic recommendations to ownership, providing guidance on long term business and financial planning strategies. She maintains investor relations and partnership compliance while capitalizing on revenue generating opportunities.
Kari provides leadership and direction to our robust finance team by identifying operating efficiencies and improving the client experience through regular account touchpoints. She is also responsible for ensuring that our technology is optimized for the business as well as for our clients and customers, maintaining a superior level of quality and service.
Ryan Aubertin Leasing Manager
Ryan is responsible for Inside Edge Properties’ leasing transactions. Having worked for a global commercial real estate firm prior to joining Inside Edge, Ryan brings a unique set of skills and experience to our team. His understanding of commercial lease transactions allows him to provide insights that benefit both landlords and tenants. Prior to joining Inside Edge, Ryan focused on the commercial leasing of office, industrial, and retail properties with Colliers International. Ryan was responsible for leasing over one million square feet for one of Ottawa’s largest commercial real estate portfolios owned by Manulife Real Estate.
Ryan has a range of experience assisting a variety of tenants and landlords including private, institutional, and pension-fund clientele. A bilingual and licensed real estate agent, Ryan is responsible for sourcing new opportunities, analyzing deal metrics, negotiating proposals with tenants, facilitating lease agreements from start to finish, and coordinating tenant fit-ups with our project management team.
David Coyne Project Manager
David manages, coordinates, and delivers high-quality projects on schedule and on budget. He oversees commercial construction projects for private and institutional property owners, ensuring that project requirements such as scope, quality, design, schedule, and budget are met to the client’s satisfaction. Leveraging a civil engineering degree from the University of Ottawa, David brings a diverse set of skills to project management, including technical report drafting, contract administration, building code compliance, and quality control.
Before joining Inside Edge Properties, David worked with the Building Sciences team at WSP and as a Field Coordinator with EllisDon.
Daniela Hope-Johnstone Property Manager
Daniela oversees a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring a high standard of client care and tenant satisfaction. Through proactive management and strategic vendor relationships, she works to maximize the value of an asset in alignment with owners’ objectives while proactively responding to tenant needs.
Drawing on an educational background in business administration and over 15 years of experience in property management, Daniela brings a variety of key skills to Inside Edge, including business planning, customer relationship management, and contract negotiation.
Serge Trottier Building Operations Manager
Serge leads the building operations team across a portfolio of commercial properties, providing technical, solutions-oriented insight and recommendations. He focuses on implementing optimal building operations processes that result in premium client and customer service. Working closely with other departments at Inside Edge, Serge supports cross-functional workflows and collaborative problem solving.
With certificates from Algonquin College in Building Environmental Systems, as well as a Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) designation from BOMI Education Canada, Serge brings a high level of technical expertise and twenty years of experience in building operations to his role at Inside Edge.
