We Are Currently Seeking NCC Bistro Operators to Run Pop-up Cafés in the Nation’s Capital
Through partnership with local restaurant entrepreneurs, the National Capital Commission (NCC) launched the NCC Bistro initiative in 2019, bringing pop-up cafés made from repurposed shipping containers to Ottawa’s urban parks and shorelines. With successful operations at Remic Rapids, Patterson Creek, and Confederation Park, and the launch of the Barge Bistro pilot project, the NCC is now looking to expand Bistro operations to two new locations, at Bate Island and the Mackenzie King Estate within Gatineau Park!
